These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the SK Bio website. SK Bio is operated by Paul Whittle trading as SK Bio.

1. Research use only

Products sold by SK Bio are supplied strictly for laboratory, analytical and research purposes only. They are not supplied for human consumption, human use, veterinary use or therapeutic use. Nothing on this website is medical advice, a diagnosis, treatment advice or dosage guidance.

2. Orders

All orders are subject to availability and acceptance. We may refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product is unavailable, information or pricing is incorrect, payment has not completed, or we reasonably believe the order may involve unlawful or inappropriate use. If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the relevant amount will be refunded.

3. Prices and payment

Product prices are those displayed when the order is placed. Delivery is charged separately. Our standard UK delivery charge is £4.99.

4. UK delivery

SK Bio currently delivers within the UK only. Orders are sent using a tracked DPD Next Day service. The service aims for delivery on the next working day following dispatch where available for the delivery postcode. Weekends, public holidays, courier disruption and circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery times.

Unless a delivery date is expressly stated to be guaranteed, delivery times are estimates. Nothing in these terms affects statutory delivery rights.

5. Delivery information

Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address. If an order is returned because incorrect or incomplete delivery information was supplied, reasonable additional postage may be charged before redelivery.

6. Products and descriptions

We take reasonable care to keep product descriptions, specifications, photographs and prices accurate. Images are illustrative and packaging or labels may vary without changing the identity of the product.

7. Cancellation, returns and refunds

Consumers buying online may have statutory cancellation rights. Please read our Returns & Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Faulty, damaged or incorrect orders

If a product arrives faulty, damaged, not as described or different from the item ordered, contact SK Bio as soon as reasonably possible. Where a return is required because SK Bio supplied a faulty or incorrect product, SK Bio will pay the reasonable return postage cost. An appropriate refund, repair or replacement will be provided in accordance with applicable consumer law.

9. Product integrity

Do not use or further handle a product if you believe it arrived damaged, contaminated, incorrectly sealed or otherwise compromised. Contact SK Bio so the issue can be investigated.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. SK Bio is not responsible for use of products contrary to their stated research-use-only purpose or contrary to applicable law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
